Mahindra 11GPM, is this right? JD shows 17GPM

Is the 11GPM pump spec right for the 5500? The Kubota and JD shows 17.1. If I intend to use the remotes, is this enough of a difference that I might notice it?
I've heard that the Mahindra has a seperate pump for the steering and that is subtracted from the total GPM, is this correct? I'm drooling over a 5500, what a freakin' tank of a machine. I just want to make sure I'm not giving up high pump volume, especially since I intend to use the remotes heavily.

It is true that Mahindra '00 series have separate pumps for PS and hydraulics, all in the same case.
I suspect that JD does the same but lists (advertises?) the combined flow in the "general" info for the model. For their 4000 series that is all I could find on their web site. However for the JD 5003 and 5005 series if one scrolls down through the features to Hydraulics, there is a statement about hydraulic capacities with a "click for more" URL. That opens a new small window that shows separate capacities for "steering pump" and "hydraulic pump" 5003s show 11.4 gpm for hydraulics, 5005s show 10.9 gpm; both comparable to Mahindra.

In figuring your needs for hydraulic flow, you need to ask yourself what you will be using with same. If the remotes are to activate cylinders, such as top and tilt rams, wheel discs, etc., your flow requirements are minimal. If you are going to be running a hydraulic motor off the remotes, you will need more than just tilting a box scraper.

The 20 series Mahindra's have bigger pumps, I think 17 gallon for the 7520, but most applications do not need that much flow.
