Buying Advice Mahindra 1533

I looked at a 1533 yesterday and really liked it. The salesman gave me a price of $19200.00. That was his first price. The tractor has a loader and four wheel drive with shuttle shift and R4 tires which I would like to trade for ag tires. About how much should I expect him to come off this price?

i haven't found that Mahindra dealers 'deal' very much at all.

Yea, They don't like to deal much. I have a 1533 with about 70 hours and love it.

That's lower than I'm seeing for the same model.
Also check for any add-ons like a destination or prep fee.

There doesn't seem to be much haggling going on with tractor prices. One thing you can do is to make sure you shop for and buy from a decent dealer even if it means changing brands. I just got a 1538 TLB and the dealer did some extra stuff that I never asked for. I didn't find much leverage or haggling going on for used tractors either which is why I bought a new one. There is little depreciation applied to used tractors which I found a bit surprising.
Ask who takes care of delivery, transportation for warranty work and things like that. That sort of thing is under dealer control.
You should have no trouble getting the tires you want for no extra charge. If they try to charge you for it, head for the door and shop elsewhere.
