Wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I bought a new M 1635 HST and had only 8 hr on the clock when the front axle locked up while grading a gravel driveway. It wouldn't go forward or in reverse whether it was in 4wd or 2wd. Dealer came out and disconnected the drive shaft and we were able to move it by lifting the front wheels off the ground by propping it up with the FEL on a pickup bed. The dealer called and said there were two bearings seized and there was apparently little or no oil in the front axle! It came from the factory without oil! Obviously it's under warranty and the dealer is fixing it with no charge, but how does a brand new tractor come from the factory carrying no oil in the front axle? Dealer apparently missed it too.
Hoping this is not a sign of things to come with the Mahindra.
