Hi
i have a 07 mahindra 1815 3 cyl diesel mitsubishi no cpu as far i im told . its been a great little tractor ,but latley it has been loosing power and the rpm has been dropping(like water in fuel ). This happens if i throttle up to say 2k and leave it for about 7-10 min. it starts to drop off and run rough and rpms go down to around a grand ,it has no power at this point.I have drained every drop of fuel ,replaced filter,checked hydro fluid, cracked the bleeder on the injectors numerous times.Like i said it runs great at first you would never know something was wrong ,leave it sit and run or use it still happens around 10 min.havnt seen any air in system or in filter glass.I have checked filter in gas cap its still there and hasnt fallen in tank popped cap blew through it etc etc.. took it to the truck stop in santa rosa ca.(mahidra dealer) i stayed and ran it to let them see the problem,he said man it sounds great after ten mins, he heard it and has yet to find the answer.the only thing i have seen that shouldnt matter is the fuel shutoff valve turns but does not shut off i only noticed this when i drained the tank,the fuel rolls out of the valve on or off.i do not believe it is starving for fuel from this it rolls out..please guys any insight???? ...

p.s even after the tractor begins to run rough i have bled the system and found no bubble out of either bleeder or injector bleeder and it still runs rough after.next day or so its fine for about ten mins again..

You didn't mention your air filter. It sounds like it's clogged. If so, you can blow it out from the inside. Another thought; when you drained the fuel, was it at the tank? If not, you could have debris in it.

Try it with the fuel cap loose or off. The vent could be plugged. Symptoms say it might be.

Ditto to above. Last November I was discing with Mahindra 4500 when lost power. It even died. After sitting there just a little while it would start and run fine for a few minutes then same thing again. Cousin said the vent tube on fuel tank is probably clogged. But it doesn't have a vent tube so I loosened the cap. No problems since.

You didn't mention your air filter. It sounds like it's clogged. If so, you can blow it out from the inside. Another thought; when you drained the fuel, was it at the tank? If not, you could have debris in it.

achingback.checked airfilter little dirty but fine tried without for a min still the same

actually i blew backwards through it and it sounded good also pulled cap off while running it didnt change its at service place now..grrr 150miles round trip and i need it lol

no sir i did not remove the tank ..i looked in it after draining and the filter wasnt that bad.its always been filled by my pump which has been filtered ..not that that would not be the problem its just the time issue before it starts to act up ..Even when im mowing and bouncing around like crazy or just running in driveway it happens around 7-10 min

Have you checked for a partially clogged strainer at the tank outlet? You maybe have enough stored fuel in the delivery system when you start to get going but the fuel delivery is restricted somewhere and system won't supply enough fuel to run much above lo idle or under load.
