Posthole Digger Mahindra 1815 HST - Post hole digger

Good morning,

I have a Mahindra 1815 HST and want to buy a post hole digger for it. I have been looking at the CountyLine Post Hole Digger
SKU # 210022099 does anybody know if this unit can be used with my tractor?

An auger doesn’t really require a lot of horsepower, but the lift height requirement comes into play with smaller tractors and longer augers. If you can mount the auger and still have a few inches of clearance from the ground it should be fine.
I can’t comment on your specific tractor, but I used a similar post hole digger with I believe a 9” x 36” auger on a 16hp Kubota B8200 to dig 50 holes or so. There was no loader on the B8200, and with 150lbs of suitcase front weights it was still light in the front while using the auger.

As RJ stated, it is not HP that determines if an auger will work but the length of the auger relative to how high the 3 PT will lift. You have to have a little ground clearance when taking it out of the hole.
