Mahindra 2415hst rear axle oil seal

I just had the L rear axle case welded to fix a crack. I bought a replacement oil seal for the axle from my Mahindra dealer. It's the correct part number according to the parts diagram, but it does not fit. It is too small in both outside and inside diameter and is a different shape than the original. Does anyone know if Mahindra changed the specs on this tractor at some point? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions you may have.

If you look at the old one is there a number on it , or just take the old seal to the dealer.........

What part number did you recieve? Possible boxed wrong, or wrong part number?
