I recently purchased a 2538 Cab.
I knew going in this was a rebadged TYM.
I was looking for a lower lift arm, and Mahindra dealer quoted me $280. I figured I would try to find the same TYM and see if the part was cheaper. Looking at TYM site, and parts manuals, I am pretty darn sure the T394 is the same tractor. The part is a bit cheaper, but still steep at $220.
That aside, as I noted, I am fairly sure these are the same tractor.
My issue is that the 2538 has a rate lift capacity of 1600 lbs and the 394 has a lift capacity of 1800.
Assuming these are the same tractor and components, my only conclusion is that the Mahindra is either rated low, or the relief valve is set lower in Mahindra form, to give the TYM an advantage in the "stats".
Anyone have any opinions or insight they would like to share?
