Mahindra 2555 O ring water sensor

I have a leak at the O ring on the water sensor that attaches to the water separator/fuel filter. I have been unable to find a replacement O ring, I am told it does not come with a replacement filter, it is not offered separately, the only way to get one is to order a new sensor, which is $200+. Anyone know to purchase the just the O ring? or a work around? Thank you so much

Take the O ring off and go to you local hydraulic shop, measure where it goes or take the sensor with you, get a kit of assorted O rings, visit Princess Auto/Harbour Freight, local auto supply store etc..............Mike

Thanks for the help. Took off the sensor yesterday, the dealer did not install the O ring when they changed the filter. I am not happy about that! I was informed by a different dealer the O ring was square, which I have learned to mean one side is flat, is there an image of these O rings somewhere so I can have something to work with? Thank you !

Actually it's called a quad ring, most are like this with a rounded corner profile but there are some with completely square corners..........Mike
