I have been visiting this site and finally got around to joining.
I used information I gathered from this site to choose a Mahindra 2615 used with under 200 hours, FEL and BH.
After over 20 years on a Ford 800, I found this little guy a joy to drive.
After a couple of hours, it started making a high pitch squeal when I pressed the clutch in I concluded it was a throw out and took it to the dealer. They split it and found one disk had a severely worn spline andthe other had rattling springs. They replaced the disks, throwout and pilot bearings, as well as installing a slug in the end of the crank to keep the shaft spline from walking forward. It was discovered the reason for the wear is a couple owners ago, the frame to engine bolts came loose and there was movement between the engine and tranny.
My question is it still makes the same squeal when I press the clutch pedal, but stops when I get it all the way down. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help.
