My 2615 hitch only lifts about half way. If I attempt to lift full up and then turn off the engine the lift arms can be moved by hand the rest of the way up. to put it another way there is about 3 inches of freeplay to the upside. I think its a linkage problem. I hope I made this clear. Thx

I was afraid I wasn稚 clear. The lift arms that lifts the 3 point would only lift about half of their travel. It did the same thing when I first got the tractor. I replaced some rods in the lift control linkage and lubed it. It fixed it till this year. To get to the control handle and associated linkage I had to remove the seat, the panel below it and the panel that surrounds the handle. I lubed every joint with penetrating oil several times and moved the handle back and forth several times. The lever loosened up and now I get full travel of the lift arms. That痴 great but I don稚 want to go thru the pain every couple of years to lube the linkage. The lever is looser but still not as free as I think it should be.
