Thank you OP for this write-up! I've got a 1533 with this block, minus the heater and couldn't find much of any documentation to confirm my suspicion that's what it was.
parts.mahindrausa.com was somewhat helpful after finding a computer with the right browser. For anybody else following after me, here's the likely parts for the 1533.
PHI3100093 BLOCK HEATER FROST PLUG TYPE-839071M94 - the actual heater part. Though i couldn't find a pic, so i'm not sure this is accurate.
006023386H1 BLOCK Casting For Heater - this is the metal casing inline with the radiator hose, shown in the OP's posting

I can confirm the provided instructions are the same for a 2645 - just installed it last week.

I still havent used mine! Its parked outside ready to be plugged in, but we havent had snow days under 20ish and I find it starts up with no hesitation down to 0.
