Mahindra 26XL Hydro
I have my loader and backhoe on. 156 hours on the meter, purchased it new. While digging a ditch yesterday it cut off after I swiveled the seat. Cut the safety wire so I crimped it back together. After that it will not attempt to start. Hydro and clutch safety switches are engaged as well as both PTO switches. Battery terminal was a mess. Cleaned the battery post well. I have 12.53 volts at battery and at starter. Now my dash lights are dead. Flashers work. Not sure what the electrical warranty is until dealer opens tomorrow. Any ideas of issue? Only found 2 50 amp fuses, both test good. Key switch?

There is a small fuse box on the right side just in front of the firewall. Odds are it blew a fuse in there. I don't remember which one it is but that is most likely the problem.

I was thinking I looked there, thought it was relays. I will look again as soon as it quits raining. Your saying on the right side as I am sitting on the tractor? Is it a problem if I just bypass the seat switch by crimping the 2 wires together? 2nd time its cut those wires when I swivel the seat. Poor design IMO.

It is a bad design and a very common issue, and I bypassed the switch on mine also. Of course it is there for a reason, but if you swivel and move the seat often it will be a very frequent problem to deal with.

And yes, it is the right side as you sit on the tractor, right above the coolant reservoir, behind the air cleaner. I'm thinking that it is the ETR Solenoid fuse.

Thanks tmcj, it blew the 15A main and the 10A Hazard fuse. Not sure why the hazard blew as it was working before. I twisted the seat wires together and then put the seat down to try to restart it. I guess it blew because it grounded out on the seat frame. I didn’t have any tape with me at the time. I took a splice with me this afternoon and put the seat wire together. I will repair those wires when I get it back home. If it happens again I will bypass the seat wire entirely. Since its still under warranty I will put it back the way it was. She is up and running so thank you for pointing out my problem. Looked at my manual last night and they have a very good picture also just as you posted.

Splice in longer wires and re-route.
