1st. The fel leaks off. It is the tilt on the bucket. The more load that is in it the faster it leaks off. Fittings are tight. also dosn't seem to have the lift it should. 2nd. My wire harness under the hood got against the manifold and melted some of the wires. Now I have to jump across the starter and solnoid to start and the glow plugs are on. I need help. Where can I get a maintenance manual? Thanks

I think you meant 2810? Anyway, I had a similar problem with my 2615HST FEL would leak down about 1 1/2" per hour whether it had a load or not. I had no visible leaks. Also the load capacity had diminished too. Could not scoop into a pile of topsoil and lift. The book that came with my loader has a troubleshooting guide in the back and that indicated an internal leak in the control valve. I caught mine while still under the 1 yr. loader warranty and the dealer replaced it with a heavy duty valve. Your dealer can order service manuals for you. I haven't found any other source to get them from. I responded to another member with a 2615 Mahindra just yesterday. Others responded that some leakage is normal such as a 5" drop in 24hrs.

wallace,
could you please expand on the new loader valve statement, I have a 2810hst and believe that the pressure relief cuts out too soon, is their a s/n or mfg date regarding the loader valve switch, tractor was bought in august of 2004 and no other problems to speak of. Also heard of anyone upping the hp to 35 i understand its the same engine block. thanks glenn.

George, now I'm wondering if I have a problem. I haven't really measured it but do know that if I have the bucket raised it will drop a few inches in an hour or so when shut off. This is my first FEL so I just thought that was normal. I'm a few months out of warranty now and it hasn't been a problem but I think I'll get a better idea as to how much it drops over a period of time and monitor it to see if it progresses. Danny

Demote,
As I mentioned earlier in this post I was shoveling topsoil from the bucket by hand into some flower boxes for the wife. Had the bucket about 3' off the ground and by the time I filled the boxes, the bucket height was below my knees. When I finished I raised the bucket empty to 5', turned off the motor, and recorded the height every hour for the next 5 hrs. It dropped about 1 1/2" per hour. Thats when I looked in the loader manual troubleshooting section. I called the dealer and told him my results and symptoms. He said that 5" in 24 hrs. would be acceptable but not 7 1/2" in 5 hrs. He told me he knew of the problem and would order the heavy duty valve for me under my warr. He replaced mine when it came in. I'll try to attach the relevant troubleshooting pages for inadequate lift and loader drop.

Second page attached. Both symptoms indicate an internal leak in the control valve. Hope you can read them.
