I want to add 2 rear remotes to my 3016. The tractor has a loader on it. Does anyone know where I need to tap into the hydraulics on the tractor? I looked in the loader manual and the power beyond port on the loader valve hooks into the power beyond port on the tractor. Is there another power beyond port on the tractor to hook into? I am going to get the valve from Surplus Center. I checked with the dealer and they want $600 just for one remote.

Make sure your new valve also has a PB port. Power the new valve from the loader valve PB port, and route the PB port on the new valve to the PB port on the tractor hyd block.

The valve I was looking at has power beyond, so it should work. Would it be ok to tee the outlet of my new valve into the outlet of the loader valve? Thanks for the help Galen.

If your loader valve has in and and out hoses only. Take your in hose off and run to new valve in. Run hose from new valve's PB out to where you disconnected the in hose from on the loader valve. You must also run a hose from the out on your new valve. This you can T to the out hose from your loader valve. You can T return to tank hoses, but should not T pressure hoses. Your pressure relief settings should be the same psi on all your valves. You may want to post something in the Hydraulics section if you still don't follow.

I believe this port , which if it exists on your model will be located under the right side of your seat, can also be used as a hydraulic tank return, instead of T'ing to your loader valve out. See pics. Second pic is from fellow member yeeehah.

My loader valve has in, out, and power beyond ports. The hyd block on the tractor has pressure, tank, and power beyond. What I am thinking is run power beyond from loader valve to inlet on new valve, power beyond from new valve to power beyond port on hyd block. Then I was thinking tee the outlet on new valve to outlet on loader valve, which runs to the tank port on hyd block. I may not have explained it correctly earlier, Galen says the tee idea will not work, but you say you can tee on return to tank hoses. When I said outlet on the previous post I was talking about the return to tank. Do you guys think what I am thinking will work or not? I appreciate the help guys.

Is there a hose presently hooked up to the PB out of the loader valve and if there is, where is it going? If there isn't you may have to install a PB plug into your loader valve in order to activate the PB outlet. If you know the make and model of the valve, this will insure you are using the correct type plug.

The power beyond port on the loader valve is connected to the power beyond port on the hyd block on the tractor. I assume that feeds the 3 pt hitch hydraulics. I could be wrong.

Your proposed routing for hooking up your new valve is then correct.
