mahindra 3016 adding remotes

I have a mahindra 3016 and I would like to power my log splitter the splitter has its own valve ... so I put a tee from the PB on the loader valve and also a tee from the out port on the loader valve ran the hoses to a couple QD and pluged them into the splitter hoses ... it will move the splitter ram in and out but it has no pressure to split the wood ......what could be the problem ? Thanks to anyone who can help

All valves should be in a series flow path.

No tee's in open center hyd systems, except tank lines.

well if you can't tee into the PB port where else could i connect to in order for this to work ?

The PB outlet with adapter from any valve goes to the next valve IN port throughout the hyd flow path.

All valves in an open center hyd system are connected this way.

Your flow pat should be something like this.

Pump, FEL, remote, 3pt, tank. All in series.

J.J. This is how i had it hooked up ..it worked but had no pressure to split with do i need to tee into the tractor hyd block to get pressure? I've searched the forum on here and seen similar post but still can't quite get it figured out I'm sorry to be so dumb when it comes to hydraulics as you can tell lol but I really do appreciate your help .

Here is a update I just went out and tried it without the Tee in the PB line and now the splitter works fine i can split wood the only thing is as you see in the picture with the hose that was connected to the PB port on the FEL valve disconnected my 3pt hitch will not work since the Tee idea won't work where will I hook my original PB hose to now in order to restore function to my 3pt hitch and still be able to leave the remotes on all the time.

Remove the tee from the PB line.

Add a female QD to the hyd block PB out. Plug your log splitter in there. No 3pt available.

Add a male QD to the 3pt metal line, and then when you remove the log splitter, and connect the added QD's, you will now have 3pt.

Add a QD to the return line tee. so the log splitter OUT port hose an be plugged in.

I appreciate the info .... Right behind the top there is a plug in the top of the rear housing I was wondering if i could use a elbow and a QD and use this as the return line that way it would eliminate having to run a hose and tee into the FEL return line also if i extend the original hose that was connected to the PB port on the FEL valve to the rear of the tractor and use a QD to plug it into the PB hose that runs the splitter that would give me my 3pt back when not using the splitter right ? I really do appreciate the help
