Can anyone help me with the torque specs for the flywheel on a Mahindra 3016? It would also be helpful to have the torque specs on the pressure plate.
thank you

For the flywheel: 94.0 to 101.3 lb-f (127 to 137 N-m)

I assume you're referring to the clutch pressure plate? As far as I can tell, the service manual doesn't have a specific spec for that. Just says: "Tighten the bolt of clutch disk Assembly" and there's a note that there are 6 bolts. They're M8-20 bolts. If they're 7T then roughly 20lb-ft. If they're 8T then roughly 24lb-ft.

The service manual also calls out to put
-"Threebond #1206D" on the engine rear plate where it meets the clutch housing.
-lithium grease on the inside of the release hub, release lever, and rotating part of release shaft
-"non-luster" on the flywheel where it meets the mounting face of the clutch. (I believe this is supposed to mean 'rust-preventative oil')

Hope that helps!

Thank you that is helpful. Does it also give the torque specs for the flywheel itself? I’m taking the flywheel to the machine shop tomorrow for resurfacing.
interestingly enough, the clutch itself still looked good, however the drain plu was still in the bell housing, and it retained a lot moisture. It was still wet and rusty when I cracked it open. The moisture got into the throw out bearing, and caused it to seize up. This caused it too eat all of the teeth off of the pressure plate. I was also considering some blue permeates for the mating surface between the engine and tranny, to help seal out the moisture. I would have to assume that it came in through the top of the bell housing, and couldn’t get out due the drain plug in place. I believe this should have been removed.

Another point of interest, is that when I took this apart, I found my loader bolts to be loose! I didn’t realize that this had happened. I would advise folks to check them. mine looked solid, but I never thought to put a wrench on the to check them. Lesson learned.
i still need to get the throw out bearing removed, and the linkage will need to be cleaned and greased, as it is stiff from corrosion/rust.
