Mahindra 3510HST
I bought this tractor used, 226 hours, everything works just fine except the warning lights quit. Al lights, turn signals, horn, tachometer, fuel gauge, and temp gauge all work. The PTO and Cruise buttons and lights both seem to work as well.

Actually only two things I can find that do not work. The warning lights and the glow plugs and glow light will not come on. Replaced the glow plug timer because the glow plug relay would not click, still doesn't.

All the fuses I can find are all Good. I did fix the shut down solenoid because the fuse was not contacting the wires plugged into the back of the fuse box. Seated them and reinserted the fuse and it now works.

I have cleaned the battery negative terminal, there wasn't any corrosion anyway, Cleaned all three of the grounds just ahead of the dash on the firewall. Still nothing. There was a 50 amp fuse that is attached to the wiring harness on the left side of the console in the engine compartment that was overheaded corroded and burned out. Replaced that.

Any suggestions on where to go from here.

I am also looking for a maintenance manual, I have the owners manual but the wiring diagram is so small my old eyes can't follow wiring with it.

Thanks

I finally figured out what the problem was. The previous owner didn't know the difference between a fuse and a diode. He removed one of the two diodes in the circuit and replaced it with a 20 amp inline fuse. The result was a short to ground for the glow plug timer to glow plug relay wire. second result brand new glow plug timer burned out. The purpose of the diodes is to negate the transient voltage created by the relay coils. If one of the diodes fails it could result in a short to ground on the power side of the relay which will burn out the timer. Since I didn't want to replace the entire wiring harness to get the diode socket I went to radio shack and picked up a 3 amp diode for $1.25 versus one from Mahindra for $16.00.
