Mahindra 3535 plarform size

I'm hoping you may be able to help me with a Mahindra 3535 "sizing" problem.

I'm looking at the possibility of buying a Mahindra 3535 Shuttle.

My local dealer doesn't have a 3535 or 4035 on the lot and would have to special order one.

I am concerned about the operator's platform. I've got long legs and big feet. I found that I don't fit well on a New Holland Boomer 35 or an equivalent 35HP Case. There just wasn't much leg or foot room for me.

I am, however, comfortable on the Mahindra 3616 and the 35 HP Massey Ferguson, but I don't know how they compare to a 3535.

I notice there are several 3535 and 4035 owners contributing to this forum.

QUESTIONS:
Can I assume that the 3535 and 4035 are built on the same framework, with a similar operator's space?

How is the leg/foot room on a 3535? On a 4035? Compatible with size 13 clodhoppers?

Do you know how they compare with a 3616, as a reference benchmark?

Any feedback you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

And, of course, any other information you wish to share with a prospective 3535 Shuttle buyer will be greatly appreciated.

Per tractordata, the 3535 and the 4035 share a 123.9" length while the 3616 is 121.3" long.

As such, I would guess that the 3535 and 4035 share the same frame while the 3616 is a different frame and as such may have a different platform.

If I were going to buy a new tractor I'd sit on one first. Worth a trip somewhere. Foot room is only one issue of operator comfort.

I would agree with one of the other posters - you REALLY want to at least sit on one before you sign on the dotted line . . .

Having said that, I am 6-3 and wear size 13 boots when I use my 4035HST. It is an extremely comfortable platform for me.

I'm trying to locate a 3535 in SE Washington so that I can try on the "fit", but they are hard to find here. This is dry land wheat country with an emphasis on LARGE machinery. There is a smaller market for compact utility tractors, and for some reason the dealers seem not to carry the 35 series. They are available, but need to be special ordered. I suspect that most CUT buyers around here are small land-owners who don't need the extra features and weight of the 35 series. And, with our low population density, there aren't as many small land-owners as you might find around larger population centers.

I may be able to find a dealer with one if I am willing to travel far enough. (Our county is over half the size of Rhode Island, but we have 4,000 people and one stop light.)

The local dealer, only 35 miles away, is quite substantial and is good to work with. They seem willing to accommodate me in many ways, but they don't have any incentive to bring in a new 3535 entirely on speculation. I don't blame them. And, I don't wish to be too much of a pest, as I'd like to maintain their good will if I eventually do decide to special-order one.

I agree, completely, that I do need to examine the actual product.

I've gotten this far in the search, and narrowed it down to the 3535, because of some special requirements I need to meet for the projects I have in mind. A number of very good tractors have been eliminated because they don't meet some of my needs. Most, however, don't come close. I've examined a lot of tractors, and could probably make do with a Mahindra 3616 or with a M-F, but the 3535 appears to be a superior tractor for my needs.

Now, all I need to do is confirm whether or not reality meets theory. I suspect you've all been there at one time or another.
