Just bought a Mahindra 3535 a couple of weeks ago. Already have 17 hours on the tractor. In two weekends I got more done on my 7 acre's then I have done in 2 years. I got the 120 loader included in the deal for rate over $18,000. The dealer is a new dealer in the area so they were willing to wheel and deal. The tractor was listed for almost $26,000.00 and on sale for rate under $20,000. I got them to come down almost two grand because it was a 2010 model and it had a small dent on the hood.
Review of the tractor:
The more I work with this beast the more I love it. This tractor has performed and acted as should. It has ample power that has rarely even had to up the rpm's while operating the front end loader. I moved about 5 tons of dirt in an hour. I had a long haul to the back of my property. Using this tractor is actually fun. I opted for the shuttle shift because I didn't want to lose sacrifice the PTO power with the hydrostat. Now that I'm use to it, I actually like it because of the additional power. Plus I've found when I'm really getting into the mud, I'm alway's in first gear anyways. I've only put about 15 hours on the tractor, but from what I can tell, I love this machine. Take into consideration I was seriously looking at bobcats and kioti's. I test drove them all. The bobcat felt good but the loader was week. The kioti essentially is the same as the bobcat. I test drove the kubota and new holland but could not afford the $35,000 dollar price tag for the comparable mahindra. Mahindra may not have the name brand now, but they will and I expect their prices will rise in the coming years.
I'll keep everybody informed as the hour meter go's up.
