Mahindra 4025 won't start

I am having a problem with my 2wd 4025 - it will not start - the range interlock appears not to be functioning as the key does nothing when turned - battery full charged, fuel good, oil level good and clean oil.

When starting the 4025 it is necessary to place the range selector in neutral, then turning the key kicks in the starter, tractor starts and we go play in a field. Yesterday the starting routine failed to start the tractor. Irrespective of what position the range selector lever was in, the key turned with no accompanying roar of diesel power. I need to know where the start interlock is, and if I can get at it. The range selector comes out of the left side of the transmission housing, with no obvious switches or wires apparent.

There are 34 hours in one year on the tractor.

Lights work, no dimming, battery fully charged.

Solved: there are two interlock switches - I knew of one, but not the other. The PTO lever has one that had come loose and did not engage when the lever was forward. Tightened it up on the screw and it worked. I am very happy about this.

The original post was over a year ago. He resolved the problem in post 4 by fixing the PTO switch.

Being his first post, I figured cutting some slack on proper forum etiquette was due... Being the case of no lights and nothing on the switch, I figured the issue was quite different than the OP's interlocks.

6/12/2016 I'm having the same problem with my Mahindra 4025 4WD. I checked all the fuses on the dash and they are good but I have no lights or horn. I charged the battery and it is good. The manual says something about some kind of pump start fuse. I have no idea what that is or where to find it's fuse. I have not checked the PTO switch yet but I will when it stops raining.

As it is pouring rain and the radar shows it will be awhile before it clears up, I'll use this time to go back and re-read the etiquette note. I'm so mad over this year old tractor that I probably didn't retain what I read. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I am having same problem on a 2009 4025 2wd - It will not start - without moving the range interlock lever back and front a few times.
Battery is strong - Changed the range selector switch - Same problem ---
