Mahindra 4110 Glow Plugs/Relay/Controller?

I have just recently changed the fuel filter on my Mahindra. I bled the filter housing as well as injectors. when i start it up, it shoots up to max rpm's and i have to turn it off. any ideas?

First things first - move your throttle lever/foot pedal and watch at the injector pump to see that it is operating the lever back and forth. Usually the hand throttle and the foot pedal will each have their own cable and come together somewhere close to the injector pump, something could be binding there somehow.

appreciate the info, looked at both throttle cables and they appear fine and not getting stuck.

OK, make sure that the throttle lever that the cables operate on the pump is actually moving back & forth and turning the shaft it is mounted on, going into the injection pump. If that looks good, I would guess a problem internally with the governor. Can't give you any direct advice on that other than let a good shop look at it.
