Hi Guys
Trouble with the tranmission trying to go into two gears at the same,i took off the side plate and adjusted the gears back to nutural.Before this my son backed up with it and heard a loud popping noise in the tranmission.
I put it all back together and drove it very slow,i feel the gears grinding and skipping a little,jerking like a couple teeth is broke off.I let out on the clutch and it feels ok.This old tractor has a two stage tranmission,one hooked to the bellhousing and another on hooled to that one back to the rear end.
I have it all striped down right now but was wondering would it be easer to take the tranmission out with the motor are take out the motor and then the tranmission.Eather way its a lot of work,i don't nind the work Thanks.Ole Country Boy from Teaxs
