thought I had to repair my control valve on my FEL. Went to 3 dealers and nobody had a clue of what to do, except sell me a $1100 replacement valve.
So I ended up buying a new valve on line (not OEM, but with more flow for under $300) and took it to a hydraulic supply shop, and the guys there hooked me up with all the fittings to make the transition from the new larger outlets, to the existing hoses. Surprisingly, some of the fittings were UK SAE which is different than our SAE, and different from metric. Wierd.
Word of warning...if you ever replace your control valve unit, be sure to get the "power beyond" fitting for your new valve. My 3 pt hitch works off flow from the control valve back to the reservoir on the rear. If you don't get this fitting, your 3 pt won't work. (at least on the 2500/2600 series)
