My tractor is 6 years old.
My tractor was acting sluggish and losing power and occasionally stalling when I was in the field. I had a check engine light come on and read the code for low fuel pressure. I immediately replaced all the filters and cleared the code. The issue continued and got worse to the point it was stalling every few minutes. I finally got it to the barn and called Mahindra dealer to get it in the shop. The they said the lining of the fuel tank was coming apart and clogging fuel system. This is a $700 repair to have a new tank installed. My neighbor has a bigger Mahindra tractor about the same age and his was doing the exact same thing. Same issue, his tank liner was coming apart. I have reached out to Mahindra and they said sorry you’re having issues but your 2 year warranty that covers that is gone. This dealership has had to replace several tanks in rural Alabama. This seems like it should be a nationwide issue and Mahindra should make this right by covering the cost to replace. If you’re have a Mahindra tractor with same issues, please reach out to them and fight for them to recall these tanks.
