Cross referencing Part No. 86253005002 "VALVE ASSY, JOYSTICK" with Mahindra's parts, I found this part to be $1,370. Price shock. Price shock.

My question, is there a repair kit on the market?

Taking the boot off the joystick, I can see the assembly and where a large nut has broken in two. (under the joystick, appears to be two rods (for lack of a better word) on the top right and bottom right, on the bottom left, the moving part(s) seems to be held to the frame by a nut welded to the frame. This nut broke in half and the joystick provides no control for the bucket (yes I have a limp joystick...not good). Further more, depending on the location of the rods I mentioned above, the bucket will rise up on it's own (never down???).

Is there a way to repair this damage nut (a repair kit on the market) or do I need to break open my kids piggy bank to buy the whole assembly. The whole assembly by the way includes where the hydraulic hoses connect, plus Joy Stick assembly.

I appreciate any relevant advice. Nearest dealer is 40 miles....

Do you think you could do some creative welding or maybe find a good welder who could?

Who makes that loader, the ML151/ML156? You might do better going to OEM. I'm sure they use that valve on other loaders.

Joystick valves can be had for much less than the $1300 range - shop around, check Surplus Center etc. I'd be willing to bet that you could find one more in the $300-400 +/- range, that is if you can't have yours repaired easily.
