Thanks to this forum I was able to discover that there might be a Technical Service Bulletin (TYM10-AC/62/10/2012) to remedy the lack of cab heat in my 6010.
I asked my dealer if they would provide the parts so I could do the repair myself and they did. I have a big shop and have been working on equipment for a living and did not want to be without my only means of snow removal.
The repair took a few hours and involves removing the upper radiator hose that had a tee and installing one without, then re routing the oil cooler hose and the cab heater feed hose directly to the thermostat housing.
Now the coolant temp goes up into the normal range instead of staying down on cold and the heat will cook you in the cab!
Next I am looking into the A/C drain hose, heater vent TSB that I also read others have had this done before delivery, that is how I got a hint on this problem. I read every thing I can find on the 5010/6010.
I wish the OEM and or the dealer would contact the owner to provide insight on known problems, it's a huge investment for us regular folks!
