After growning up on a small farm in East Tennessee, I moved to GA in 2005, 10 years in a small lot subdivision life, a job transfer in Nov 14. We have finally gotten back to the country. Living outside of Euharley, GA on a 10 acre mini farm motivated me to begin upgrading our 1953 Ford Jubilee. We are keeping Jubilee because it's the same model I grew up on. Recently, we visited Parkway Tractor in Calhoun, GA to look at a used Mahindra, after arriving it didn't feel like the right tractor. Chris showed us another used tractor, and we made it part of the family. Not sure if other have leaped from 1953 to 2014 tractor technology, but was I surprised at the power and features on our 2014 6530 Mahindra.... Just wanted to share our excitement that we opted for the Mahindra. If you have the same tractor and have feedback on yours, things to what out for, upgrades, mods, or other I look forward to reading your comments.

Welcome to TBN. Join the fun.

Great looking Mahindra. Enjoy.

Mine was a 2008 Mahindra 5525 that I owned for 7 years. Not a bit of trouble with that tractor.

Good luck

I also upgraded this year to a new 2013, 6530 4X4 the dealer had on his lot. Coming from a 1941 Farmall H. This tractor is a dream, I use it for all my food plot work. I did have a problem with a triple blink code it turned out you need to start the tractor in low idle. Have fun and welcome TBN.

Congrats on the "new" Mahindra! Quick note: Hopefully you have access to a good impact wrench...its a good idea to go over all the nuts/bolts on the wheels and especially the FEL brackets/frame.. you may find that they work loose rather quickly if you use the FEL a lot. I also note that you have two sets of remotes...NOW...you have to go and spend big bucks on stuff you can run with them....(Grin) Good luck! BobG in VA

last year I upgraded from a 1952 Ferguson, so I know how you feel. I gave it to my son who still uses it and sometimes lets me drive it. I had it for over 20 years and she still feels like my baby when I get behind the wheel.

Modifly your grill guard into a brush guard. I added 3/8th inch strap and then 1 inch expanded metal to mine. It is worth it the first time something pokes your grill.7-14-11 Grill with Expanded Metal.jpg6-13-07 Modified Grill Guard 2.jpg
