I've got less than 10 hours on my mmm on my Mahindra 1533 and my belt broke. I am over 200 miles from a dealer so I simply measured the belt and went to the auto parts store and bought a 5/8" x 139" v-belt. It was a very tight fit. I had to pull the tension spring on with vise grips While installing it I noticed a guide pulley mounted to the deck was askew, possibly from the belt pressure.
The dealer said the part number for the belt is Ame012767. Does anyone know what length of belt I should have? Do you think an overly tight belt could put to much pressure on a pulley and bend the deck?
