Mahindra are they based on the old International ?

I recently traded my 1975 140 Farmall in on a Kubota L3130 GST.
I like the Kubota, it has a 513 fel and 4wd. I keep looking at the Mahindra site on the internet. This spring I plan to ride up to North Georgia to a large Mahindra dealership and take a look at some of the 35 hp models. These are good looking tractors and they have iron in them like the old interntionals used to. The only dealership near me only had one Mahindra in stock and it didn't have a live pto.

IH went to Mahindra to start manufacturing in the Indian market. How much they resemble the IH of the 60's?? I dont know.

Certain models of the Mahindra look like the IH444 that I formerly had. The IH dealer parts dept said that most of the parts came from India.

If you are looking at the 3510 like I have, its a Korean tractor, not Indian. Its a rebadged KYM. I havent had a problem with it so far, still under 100 hours though. (not for lack of trying, ma nature has NOT been good to me this year) It has plenty of weight. If you get the 112 loader, it doesnt have enough weight. That is a LOT of loader out there, you need ballast. I loaded my tires with WW fluid added around 700lb, works like a champ.
