Does anybody else out there have problems with their back on the Rams on 1 does anybody else out there have problems with their back on Rams on Mahindra 2540b.
I致e heard they have frame problems. And I have actually seen one on the back of one of their repair trucks that was bent and cracked. Anyway my backhoe bent a dipper ram And I was only using it to scrape up a old burn pile that had hardened up like concrete. And as I was scraping it up I saw the dipper ram bend.
I took it to my dealer and they contacted Mahendra and Denyied To warrantee it. My Backhoe is only About six months old. I find this ridiculous since I have a Operated equipment almost all my life.

It looks like Mahendra doesn稚 stand behind their warranty or their equipment.
I contacted Mahindra Directly and the guy gave me a preapproval number BUT they can稚 seem to get their act together and contact the dealer.
If they don稚 stand behind their equipment I think I will end up selling my backhoe. And buying a Nother one from a different manufacturer. The 2540 B isn稚 strong enough anyway unless you?*e digging and soft dirt dirt. Does anybody else have problems with their money and your Baco and buying a Nother one from a different manufacturer. Or have problems with the warranty ?

I've seen bent backhoe bucket rams on Kubota's too. An immense amount of pressure can be put on them with the leverage the backhoe has, more pressure than the ram can handle when it's mostly extended. It's an inherent problem with the compact backhoe units. Just need to be more careful.

If the dipper ram is fully extended when applying downward pressure, the law of physics rules.

I have a 2011 5035 that weighs about 4.5 ton with a Bradco built 495 hoe on the back of it. I routinely lift the rear of the tractor and move it around to reposition the tractor using the hoe. Never bent anything as far as I can tell. Probably getting close to 50 stumps dug out with it. It is not a ' construction hoe ', but she does pretty good. I think the hoe you have may be sourced from the same Kansas company that builds a lot of their FEL's, KMW... who will really have to honor your warantee if it comes to that.

Not our backhoe for this one, but depending on the set of operations performed I could see how this might and might not be covered.

Sorry, but your backhoe is not made by Kansas Machine Works. You should be able to find a sticker somewhere on your hoe telling you what company produced it. Mine has Mahindra markings all over it, but also a couple tags pointing to Bradco as the manufacturer. I would think yours will have some markings somewhere. Good luck, Jerry. :)

My front end loader is manufactured by Buehler. It has a small tag on it. Hard to find but it is there. Look around it real good, I'll bet you can find something.

No worries at all! I try to check in at least every couple of weeks. PM's send an email notification so if there is something I really need involved in, that's a good way to make sure I come check it out.
