Hi Blue,
I'll post my experience. I see you're in GA. I bought my 2810HST from North GA Tractor in Cornelia and have experienced excellent service as well as a good deal from the start.

I bought my 2810HST a little over a year ago and it has been a great tractor. I have been surprised how much work I have pickup up because I have a small backhoe.

It has 250 hours on it right now.

Nice. Did you weld flat stock to the top of the loader bucket and then weld the hooks on? Reason for locating the middle one further back than the end ones? I recently moved a number of very large timbers with my loader and I just hooked the chain around the tooth bar. Worked ok, but kept playing with the chain to keep it in place and distribute weight across the whole bucket. Will the hooks handle all the weight the loader can lift?

That isn't flat stock but two pieces of angle iron Welded together . I wanted to make sure the bucket didn't bend when I picked up heavy loads with the middle hook. ( Hind site is 20 20 , it may be be a little overkill ) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I installed the two hooks on the side last year when I got the tractor . They have worked out well but It was hard to pick up things with a chain. This year I installed the angle iron and the chain hook in the middle. I cut a piece out of the top loop of the hook and slid it over the angle iron . I then welded it on.

I will be taking the tooth bar off soon , so I can use the tractor to move snow if I need it.
/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ( of course I will need it , why would I want to sit in a heated pickup when I could use the tractor. ) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have found that the New England soils makes a Tooth bar is worth its weight in gold.

I also have a mechanical thumb on the hoe and I will take some pictures of the back sometime today.

Hey Blue,
I'll tell you my experience. I just bought a new 7520 4wd from Franzen Family Tractor's in Monmouth, Iowa, eastern Iowa, and let me tell you, what a WONDERFUL experience it has been. They have treated me right from my first visit. I started out with a 6500 4wd and ended up selling that one and bought the 7520. I love hearing the turbo whine on it. I used it Thursday for the first time hauling a load of corn(195 bu.) for my corn stove and it had all kinds of power. I only traded up for the fact of the open platform and some of the other upgrades that they added. It makes it so much easier to get on and off. I highly recommend Franzen's to anyone close to our area. They are a family run business with high attention to service, fairness, honesty, and treating people right. What Mike tells you is just the way it is, and he strives to make the customers happy. Just my 2 cents worth.
