2006 Mahindra 4110 stopped running. Mechanic found bent push rods and valves. Jumped timing! Removed camshaft and found cam journals scored - bad news. No bearings on camshaft! Factory rep no help! Only 700 hours. No one seems to have a fix. Second 4110 owned - may be my last!

Any Suggestions?

I talked to the owner of the engine machine shop that I have used through the years and he told me that a good machine shop may well be able to repair your block. He also told me that a lot of the compact tractor diesels don't have cam bearings, and he has worked on this problem before on other brands. I hope you have a good outcome.

I now plan to move engine block to machine shop and see if bearing can be installed. Thanks for the advice
