Hello all

This is my first post here and I am considering buying my first tractor. While at the local Mahindra dealere here in central NY he told me that Mahindra is dropping the 2810HST & 3210HST models. Anyone know why? Did they have issues with these tractors. Any info would be appreciated as I am interested in the 2810HST. Thanks.

No 3210, see the link.......

10 Series

I looked at the 3510 and 4110 and almost bought a Mihindra.

It would be a shame for them to discontinue the 3510 if that's the one your missing!

I believe it's the 2310 and 2810 gears as well as the 2810 & 3510 Hst. Not sure about the 3510 Hst, but positive on the rest. I don't belive it has anything to do with any problems, but as they have added their Mitsubishi (15 Series) line I think they are removing some of the TYM's.

I thought the 2810 HST was being dropped when they came out with the 3510HST, same chassis with more hp. It made sense to me because my 2810HST is about 63" wide at the rears which might make some wish for bigger implements than the 2810 can handle power-wise. I have been very happy with mine and feel it has all the power I need. I think the 2015, 2615, and 3015 handle the lower end while the 3510 and 4110 handle the larger end of the compact line. To keep them all would have more overlap then needed. I'll bet one of the Mahindra dealers will weigh in with a more knowledgeable answer.

TTOWNE66, The post by SHVL73 is to some extent correct.
The physicle size of the 10 series HST requires implements that sometimes make the 2310hst & 2810hst engine work a little bit. Big deal, so you slow down a little bit, but the general public doesn't like to hear the deisel engine work. I personally have a 2810hst for my personal tractor and I don't think what little the engine has to get down and work, hurts it any. The general public doesn't see it that way, so Mahindra put 35 hp to the tractor to please the potential buyer. The 10 series hst's are top notch tractors. I hope I have shed some light on the subject. I LOVE my 2810HST.
