Mahindra max24 pto snowblower question

Hi All.
Kind of a dumb question.

I have a max24 with a 54inch pto snowblower (mkmartin 54b)

My issue I have a long driveway that has a bunch of curves . I am finding it difficult to keep good control over the rear snowblower as it swings out or in. The control is very erratic

Is there something I can do to curb this ? I was thinking of packing washers in the raise/lower lifting arms to not allow so much movement . Maybe I am missing something?? Or is erratic steering just part of rear snowblower life ?

I could be wrong, but I would bet the swaying that you get is not from the blower, but from your lift arms that are swinging left & right. I have the same problem with my mower.

I think if you "lengthen" the adjustment rods on the lift arms via the turnbuckles or other adjustment, it will minimize the sway. But be careful not to adjust them so much that the lift arm hits your back tires. My neighbor did this with his Kubota, and it tore the heck out of the treads of his rear tires.

Hope this helps. I suspect a lot of the other guys on here may have some other options for you.

The stabilizers really help with my rotary cutter too. Without them, the mower has a mind of it's own and wonders all over the place. They don't have to be tight but just enough to take up the slack. Happy snow blowing!
