Mahinra 2810 HST
I have yet to take the MMM off my 2810HST but I'm deliberating over the possibility of lifting the front wheels with a hoist and hopefully rolling it out from underneath. It seems like this would make it quite a bit easier. Can anyone give their experiences in the matter? Danny

If it's the Woods version just raise the deck wheels, unhitch and back the tractor over ther deck.

demote You are correct about raising the front off with the loader, but first pull all of your pins. First the 2 upper pins on each side that run parallel with the tractor frame. Then the upper pin on the sideways support on the Rt side of the tractor at the rear of the mower deck. Last pull the clevis pins on the lift chains. Next reach in and remove the pto shaft from the tractor, then tilt the buck to get your highest lift, and lift the front with the loader, and roll the deck out. Do just the opposit when going back on. When putting in the side pins, put the front ones in first and lift the deck part way with the 3 ph lever and you will be able to line up the rear holes to put the rear pins in. Also stay out from under the tractor when you have the front of the tractor lifted. Good luck with it.

Outlander1, the thing I didn't like about driving over the mower (when they were showing me after install) is that the front tire seems to be putting some amount of weight on one mower pulley which I would like to avoid. Although he did put a block of wood on the opposite side of the pulley to reduce the pressure.

GLaWall, that's a good tip on doing the front pins first. My plan was to hoist the front axle up possibly after removing the
FEL, but are you saying I could accomplish rolling the mower out by raising the frontend with the loader? I don't think I could pull it sideways as only the two front mower wheels pivot but if I could rock it back behind the pulleys enough to roll on off then that would be good.
