Ok I have started my tractor with a screwdriver jumping the solenoid for way too long. Your help is appreciated ! I’ll try and be thorough with what I have done so far . Thanks in advance

Since new the tractor has had battery terminal connection issues so I’m used to that mahindra 2555 hours 590
1. Turn key no start no headlights and no block heater function off the starting switch. I can jump it with screwdriver and it runs fine works fine .
2. Changed battery terminals cleaned had battery checked, double checked all the fuses I could find under the hood and at the fuse box all good so I checked for any visual broken, chewed or burnt wires nothing. So I assumed it was Solenoid and dealer says it cannot be ordered separately so I bought the entire started $550 . Still no start .
3. Removed the dash to look for loose, burnt wires and to check the ignition switch . No visual wires damaged or unhooked I did a continuity test on start switch all functions have continuity I’ve read a lot of TBN threads tonight and gotten a few ideas if it doesn’t rain all day here in Oklahoma tomorrow I’d like to trace this down . Any help would be appreciated and god bless our veterans and all the families who have lost loved ones serving our country I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow on Memorial Day !

There is likely a relay in there somewhere. Follow the start wire from the switch and check it for power at each component along the way. At some point there will not be power when the key is in the start position. The component before that is the problem. Unless it has no power at the switch when you turn the key then go the other way.

Do you think the relay would cause the headlight and the no start problem or am I looking at two issues ?

Not likely the same relay. Do the headlights need the key on? If so it could be the same feed to the ignition switch. Put a test light on the start terminal on the ignition switch and make sure it's sending power out when the key is in start.
