Just a comment on HP, the Mahindra 2015 uses the Mitsu S3L engine, rated at 20HP in that tractor, yet rated at 23 HP in the new TYM and in other applications. We have a PTO dyno, and it dyno's 3HP over what the specs say, which confirms that we are really looking at 23HP. When I talked to Mitsu about this, they said when they brought it in for Mahindra, they were looking for a 20HP engine, so it was tested for EPA at that number and that is how it is rated. I suspect real PTO power between this and the Massey would be quite similar.

My dealer in Oregon has dynoed the 2515, andstated the pto hp to be 3hp higher than shown in the factory brochure.

OK, I just purchased a new 2015hst w/loader & toothbar. I also was looking at the massey. However I was looking at the massey 1528 & 1523. The 1523 and the 2015 are comparable. Not the gc2310. The reason I say this is that the 1523 is not considered a sub-compact. But the gc is. For me I ended up going with the 2015 because of cost and I have larger tractors for hp if I need it. Ground clearance was also very important to me. Both of these models can be equiped with a backhoe but you're talking about alot more dough. Also, check the classifieds because there was a Mahindra 2015w loader & backhoe for sale in WV. I think he has it listed for 15,000? By the way guys we just got 5" of lake effect last night and I got my first chance to clear out the driveway with the loader. I found the float function very handy with the soft unfrozen ground underneath. What a great tractor!! Having way too much fun!
