I find it quite ironic that a company as big as Mahindra would put an (video)ad on a an internet site (this one)that shows one of there tractors being operated with the rops folded down.
I also find it ironic that this site,on which I've read countless thousands of words regarding tractor safety would accept such an ad.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I didn't pay any attention to it the first time, I had to go back a watch it again. I guess I was looking at the FEL and bale spear. Does seem strange though!

Yeah it is poor. You would have thought they would have caught that before sending it out. At the end they left the loader up too which I am sure they did that so the name was there to see.

The sole purpose of advertisment is to make someone remember something. Looks like it worked....BobG in VA

Oh Lordy Lordy! :D Congratulations on being the first to catch this incredible marketing team faux pas. :) Doesn't really shock me as I have my own clearance problems so my ROPS is "down" when the tractor is stored and transported until the serious work begins. I am surprised that Mahindra's marketing folks missed this... even if this guy is for real and normally must run this way for whatever reason. One could at least argue that the video is undoctored and honest.

Frankly, the whole video seems a bit amateurish and less than well thought out. And now comes the fun part... Seeing how long it takes before it is pulled or "corrected"! :D
