Any ideas? I thought I would weld an additional muffler on. Has anyone done it? Thanks

My neighbor bought a brand new JD UTV. He found it was too loud. He got a set of noise cancelling ear muffs.

The UTV he tried at the dealership did not have a cab. The one he got did have a cab. Makes a whole lot of difference.

Ear plugs! Same as I use when my wife starts talking about Amazon shopping. Sorry I’m no help

Maybe my Honda is different; But the noise is primarily wind noise, not engine noise. Keep in mind, for anything on public lands (atleast in some places), you are required to have a spark arrestor, although I doubt anyone would ever check.

I have a 835, couple months old.

No doors and don’t find it loud.

My JD UTV is the diesel model, the best tool I own sometimes but yes, the Yannmar engine is noisy. I wear muffs or ear plugs all the time when using it but it's worth it for the extra power or torque and the low, low fuel consumption over gas. My first mule was the Kawasaki and while a good tool it used lots of gas..
