Did you have enough rain this year?

My friends in Austria had the best hay production ever... so many days with no rain.

We still have to mow the 3rd cut, which got delayed by lots and lots of rain the last 3 weeks.
But other than that we had quite favorable weather this year, and some great hay!

How has the weather been over there?

In Virginia we had a wet spring and a dry summer. hay will be short here but the corn got a good start before the dry hit.

How has the weather been over there?

The weather around Salzburg was just about all sunshine for much of this summer... very unusual... also broke some all time heat records.

The local shops were sold out of fans... few have Air Conditioning... yet it was a topic of discussion...

Most home their have radiant heating... either in floor or with radiators... no forced air as in common in much of the United States... so no simple add on to add air like there is with forced air.

Never seen the mountain lakes so crowded or the Lake Temps so warm...

We had an overly wet spring where we couldn't get in the fields for maintenance or spraying. Then since July 4, we have had almost no rain.
