Maletti Tiller Gear Box Oil

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone would know what type of gear oil to put in a 6ft Maletti tiller...80W90?...someone lent me this tiller and the gear boxes are both full of water and want to get it fixed up before using it.

Any gear oil would probably be better than water. I'd use 80W 90 or something like that. That's what I used in my tiller. I suspect you have some leaky seals, though. You could surf the net for Maletti tillers, find a vendor, and ask for recommendations.
