I keep a hammer in my cab tractor, just in case I cant get out fast enough due to water or fire...

I wonder where that hammer would be in that fellow's situation? On the floor> in the box? out the window in the bottom of the pond. Even mounted high in the cab, if you go turn turtle, That's the bottom, and you can's see or breath down there.

We were headed out of the woods one day and had to wait for a crew with an excavator, trying to retrieve a big forklift which had left the road and flipped. Once they got it upright one of them jumped in to see if it would start. I suggested they didn't, and explained about hydrolock.
"Ah, it's a rental, we don't care" as he hit the starter and it went "click". I'm not sure how that turned out, we got past them and were out of there.
