Has anyone purchased a set of Kubota service manuals for the 7500DT? Do you know of an aftermarket company printing the same? Going through the operators manual leaves alot to be desired. Who came up with those service intervals anyway? For instance the thought of changing the oil and not the filter also is like changing clothes except for underwear. Looking through at tire ballast in the tractor manual and loader manual they don't list my R-4's. Does Kubota recomend that size or not.Why 4 drain plugs for complete hydraulic drain? Just some food for thought.

I have the service manual. Like the operator's manual, it is not specific to one model - it covers the B7400 and B7500 both DT and HSD. I have not heard of any after market manuals, I bought mine from Kubota. It cost about 100$ CDN.

I agree with your oil change philosophy. No funny analogies are coming to mind right now, though.

I suspect there are 4 drain plugs because there are 4 low spots in the case. I've seen cars (can't remember model) that have oil pans that are not flat on the bottom - there's a front section and a back section and as a result - 2 drain plugs.

This won't help your service issues, but you can download a parts manual for any current Kubota model and it goes a long way towards under standing how your tractor is assembled and dissasembled. You can get free service info from this great site also.These people seemed to be service oriented.Did I mention -FREE. .....RayBee
