Hey guys.
I just wanted to plug the dealer where I got my CK27 from. This is not something I do very often but I was extremely impressed with them.
So I have 3 dealers within 40km (25 miles) of my house. I checked them all and had good vibes from 2 of them. The 2 that I liked we're within $100 of each other. The 3rd guy was out to lunch on pricing.
Markham Mower is only about 15km from my place and they occupy a large free standing building with large showroom and service area. They are a family business and have many long term employees. Andy the owner is hands on and has built this business up with hard work and a welcoming personality. I even caught him polishing the machines today.
Brad is Andy's son and is a great kid. When I say kid, he is in his late 20's. Brad has taken the Kioti line under his wing and really knows the product. He is an honest kid and really cares about the customer. Does he want the sale? Absolutely, but more importantly you can tell he wants the customer to be totally satisfied and return, tell their friends etc. This is obviously what has made them successful in the past.
Now I know the purchase is only half of the equation. Service is just as important should something go wrong. Let's hope that never happens.
. Still if I didn't feel comfortable with their service abilities I would have never bought this machine from them. Their mechanic who's name escapes me was a former Deere mechanic. He took his time and walked me thru the entire machine explaining everything.
Being in sales myself I am usually disappointed with other sales people. A major purchase like this is usually not something I look forward to
. I must say every step of this process went smoothly. Brad answered all my questions with zero pressure to buy. Returned my calls or emails promptly. Did what he said he would do and made me feel like family. He even delivered the machine himself. He was a little shocked when my wife yelled over "what the **** is that?"
Cheers.
