marking the op

I see there might be a move to new software - is there any chance we could get something that indicated if the poster in the thread (after the second post) was the OP?
I think I asked this before.
It seems often after 10 or 20 posts threads get tangled up and posters don't realize if they are responding to the OP or someone else.
I've seen it on a couple of boards and it showed up under the members name.

It would help to know how you got the option, what app you are using to access TBN and what phone it is.

I didn’t do anything to get the option, as far as I know there’s not but 1 current app and an iPhone.

You can't fix stupid. There will always be hi-jackers and there will always be those that post responses to everything they read,eventhough it has nothing to do with subject at hand. Taking time to read through what is being discussed, ignoring irrelevant comments then deciding if one has anything of value to add is how things work.

And most times the most informative dialog in a thread does not include the OP.

I recently started a thread concerning camera security systems. It's somewhere around 200 posts. 95% of them are over my head intellectually. Sure glad those posters went on without me. That thread is jam packed with information regardless who the OP is.
