I love my 130 Massey!

I've had some occasions to be driving the tractor and it stops flat dead. At first, it caught me off guard. I poked around and felt that the unit might be having air in the fuel lines, so I bled the injector pump and one injector. It started up again and rain good for another 2 hours or so. Then, yesterday, it conked out again. Same cure, bleed the air as before and she runs.

I'm getting the feeling that the fuel filter is plugged. Have not changed it yet, but on my things to do list.

I've got the fuel bowl valve open wide, it works good. I can't think of any other way the system could get airbound, am I missing something here?

thanks to all

Check all the connections. Could be sucking air in at any fitting or clamp. Fuel Filter is a great place to start. Another thing we have seen is contamination in the lines like small bugs, debris etc and any where they make a 90 Degree bend these item accumulate and prevent adequate flow of fuel. You can blow backwards from the filter base to Tank and normally opens but material may reaccumulate. If that resolves concern drain tank and start over with fresh fuel.
