Massey 135 Fuel Tank Line

Hi

I am flushing the fuel tank, and changing filters on my 135. I have a leak on the fuel line from the tank to the lift pump.

My 135 it uses a black plastic fuel line about 1/4inch or less in diameter. Looks like hydraulic high pressure line rather than fuel line Was this common on the 135 tractor?
I cant find any reference to this type of fuel line. I want to change the fuel line and tank tap to standard 1/2inch fittings. The tank tap looks original rather than a aftermarket fit.

If I can get this original type of fuel line it will save me a lot of work,

If you can let me know the number(s) on the diagram of the parts you want to have the part number for, I can look them up. But as I don't know your serial number/year, I can't be certain I have the correct 135 parts book open for your tractor.

This black fuel line is original, just replaced it on my 135.

Hello charliedelta, when you flush your tank you may not be able to clean out the dregs as there is a lip on the fuel cap hole and on the fuel tap cutoff hole as well. I was never able to get my tank completely clean, very frustrating.
2ndly you need to remove the fuel tap cutoff and clean the tiny filter there when you clean the fuel tank.
The fuel pipe is rubber /plastic fuel line as standard, as the line is gravity feed (nonpreassurised)to the fuel pump

Thats the one. I cant get it anymore so will have to change the tap and fuel lines. I will save that picture for future reference.

Redman, thanks for the tips. This tractor has had very little maintenance. Theres twigs in the glass fuel bowl! The filters look original and probably have never been changed. I am surprised its running so well. If I find a lot of gunk in the tank I might just put a new tank on to be safe. I will however try to pressure blast it clean, even with limited success. This tractor is swallowing dollars like a black hole theres so many little things to fix. Thanks
