I am not a mechanic, so I don't want to get in over my head, but my FEL does not pick up like it used to.
It barely picks up a even full bucket of dry sand when I use the stock bucket.
I think it is supposed to pick up 1200 lbs.
Is there a way to increase the hydraulics pressure or at least how to check it.

Also, I have heard that a robust hydraulic system is able to pick up the front end of the tractor by just lowering the bucket to the ground. Mine barely does this when it used to do it much easily. The tires just come up a bit.

First, you have to know the FEL relief pressure, and then check it, and if low, adjust it to specs.

You should be able to lift the front end of the ground with the bucket flat on the ground and tilting the bucket down, and not use regen to do it.

Install a hyd gage like this and test your system.

Is this somthing that is found in the owners manual?
Can the guage be found at a store like Tractor Supply?
Is the end connection on the gauge common or do I need to see what is on the tractor?

I have a Kubota and a PowerTrac.

Each FEL valve has a relief, that you adjust by turning a screw, or adding shims.

Either plug in the hyd gage in a loader QD, or install a tee in the IN port with a male QD.
