View attachment 527580I have a 2017 Massey 1758 Hydro with 46 hrs. on it. The oil is totally broken down. The only use the tractor gets is cutting with an 8' brush hog. The grass is never taller than 10". I cut 6' at a time and leave 1' on each side overlap. The radiator screen is clean and all fluids are checked each time it is used. I cut 2.5 acres one week and 6 acres the next week. It takes about 15 min. to 20 min. for it to overheat and I can turn the heater to hot and in 3 to 5 min. it is cooled back down. Then it will go about 2000 ft. and overheat.
I cut in snail speed and it does not matter what my mph is. It does the same thing.
Is there an issue with these tractors. In Texas, it does get hot. Is the radiator too small, or is there insufficient trans cooling?
