Massey 2325 60" Mower Blades.

Not sure if this is the place for this post, if not, please move it accordingly.

Since my local dealer closed shop (economy stinks) I'm finding myself searching for replacement blades. I've been through the whole Massey spill, I have the Massey part number, etc...

Dealers that can get the blades for me are rediculous on prices. I'm not sure if my dealer was giving me the blades at cost (not likely) or they have just gone up that much. After today, I'm reaching the end of my motivation. The dealers want almost 50 bucks/blade. I go through 2 sets/season.

at that rate, I might as well hire someone to do the mowing for me.

Has anyone found a replacement aftermarket blade for the 60" belly mount mower? 2310 Tractor.

I paid good money for this tractor 5 years ago with hopes of never having to buy another one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in N.Ctrl. Florida, if that helps any. A part number, or maybe point me in the right direction.

I was able to order a set of blades through my local NAPA store (I purchase parts through my business here) that had all of the demensions save the center hole.

I had to use a metal wrasp that fits in a die grinder to make the center holes a little bigger and to my surprise, it worked pretty good. Not real fond of it, bit it is what it is for now. I can purchase these blades at 39 bucks/SET - and that's doable for now.

I have written Massey, yet again in hopes they can see my delima and possibly re-visit their pricing on these blades. There's not an option to re-size the blade as the spindle is a set deal. If they will release the specs to aftermarket folks - it sure would make my life easier.

I'll be sure to post my results with Massey as I get them. I do indeed like this tractor as it's the right size for the 12+ acres I have to take care of. With the additional backhoe, it's versitile enough for my needs yet operator friendly enough that my wife can operate it to mow if needed.
